On 12 May 2019 at London’s Eventim Apollo there will be two concerts of The Best of… Rock Musicals for the benefit of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust and there are plenty of West End and international stars lining up to take part. They include Adam Pascal, Kerry Ellis, Judy Kuhn, Debbie Kurup, Rob Houchen, and that’s just a few. Are you trying out your air guitar in readiness?
Star of West End and Broadway, Kerry Ellis has recorded a song "A Million Dreams" from THE GREATEST SHOWMAN with 1000 students from West End Stage, in support of Childline. They also released a video which you can watch below...

A stream of A-listers including Paul McCartney, Bryan Cranston, Judi Dench, Henry Cavill, Whoopi Goldberg, Jack Black, Steve Martin and more have contributed to a music video for ‘The Hero – A West End & Friends Tribute’ alongside stars of London’s West End (Charlie Stemp, Marisha Wallace, Cleve September, Kerry Ellis and oodles more #StageFaves). Everyone involved wished to pay thanks to servicemen and women around the world and to raise money for the UK charity, Help For Heroes.

It's been FAR too long but CHESS is finally back in the West End and it officially opens this week!! In a shock casting rumour, it's been suggested that 'Wicked' on Broadway has found their new green girl in international pop star Ariana Grande. Apparently current Elphaba, Jackie Burns (who has played the role on and off for 6 years), is ready to move on to pastures new so if you care to find her, be sure to look to the Western skies!
In some amazing #StageFaves news, the ENO have announced that their next musical theatre production will be the first major West End revival of CHESS in over 30 years. The original production starred Elaine Paige and Murray Head, the 2008 Royal Albert Hall concert featured Idina Menzel and Kerry Ellis, and previous musicals here have attracted the likes of Alfie Boe and Glenn Close - which of your #StagesFaves would you like to see in this new revival?
