A Doctor and a Queen, namely Waitress’ Gavin Creel and Six The Musical’s Alexia McIntosh, were on hand today to announce the 2020 Olivier Awards nominations, just a month before the ceremony takes place on 5 April at the Royal Albert Hall. So now the celebrations have begun, particularly in the & Juliet, Fiddler On The Roof, Dear Evan Hansen and Mary Poppins camps, all of which have received plenty of love from the nominating panel. Lambert Jackson Productions’ concert performances of the Tony Award-winning musical The Secret Garden at the London Palladium on 4 April 2020 boasts quite a cast including West End stars Lucie Jones, Ramin Karimloo and Jac Yarrow.
After receiving acclaim for their performances as Joseph and the Pharaoh in the new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium this year, Jac Yarrow and Jason Donovan will return for the 10-week season in 2020.

Just look at the fairy tale cast for the UK premiere of the Broadway version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, in concert at Cadogan Hall on 20 October. Joining Christine Allado’s Ella will be Jodie Jacobs, Dean John-Wilson, Cedric Neal, Dianne Pilkington, Zoe Rainey and Jac Yarrow. Will you be going to the ball?
Jac Yarrow’s performance in the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium was obviously a big hit with audiences as it was the public who crowned him the winner of the Joe Allen Best West End Debut Award at the 2019 The Stage Debut Awards. Not only is ArtsEd graduate Jac Yarrow making his professional stage debut in the West End, he is doing so at the London Palladium, alongside Sheridan Smith and Jason Donovan, while playing one of the most iconic roles in musical theatre. For Jac is living the dream by playing the lead in the new production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, opening at the London Palladium in June 2019.
