From 18 June 2019 the new Golde and Yente in Trevor Nunn’s West End production of Fiddler on the Roof, a transfer from the Menier Chocolate Factory, will be Maria Friedman and Anita Dobson, taking over from Judy Kuhn and Louise Gold respectively. After a sell-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF has transferred to the West End's Playhouse Theatre for a limited season. Continuing our #FirstNightTakeover series, Faves vlogger Perry O'Bree was there. Amongst the opening night audience, he rubbed elbows with husband-and-wife West End stars Michael Jibson and Caroline Sheen and with onstage father and daughter stars Andy Nyman and Harriet Bunton. The matches have been made and the performers chosen to join Andy Nyman and Judy Kuhn in the West End transfer of Menier Chocolate Factory’s Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Trevor Nunn and playing at a reconfigured Playhouse Theatre from 21 March until 15 June 2019.
Time to take a look at the principal company chosen for Trevor Nunn’s major revival of Fiddler on the Roof as Judy Kuhn, Stewart Clarke, Matt Corner and Louise Gold joining the previously announced Andy Nyman as Tevye. The production opens on 5 December 2018, so will it be on your Christmas wish list?
My my, what a lot of talent in one show! The full cast of MAMMA MIA! at the Novello Theatre has been announced and it includes a host of great #StageFaves. The new cast, some of whom have already been announced, will join the production from 12 June 2017. How could we resist going to see them?
