Written and directed by Conor McPherson, with music and lyrics by Bob Dylan, Girl From The North Country won two Olivier Awards when it was last in the West End and was an all-round critical hit. Now the show is heading back to the West End, running at the Gielgud Theatre from 10 December 2019 to 1 February 2020, before transferring to Broadway.
While some commentators might have guessed that Six the Musical would be a big winner at the Offies 2019 Awards presented by Off West End, it was The Rink at Southwark Playhouse that ended the evening with a count of five gongs, including a double whammy win for actresses Gemma Sutton and Caroline O’Connor. The full cast has been announced for the forthcoming new production of THE GO-BETWEEN at the West End's Apollo Theatre from 27 May 2016. Joining the previously announced Michael Crawford – with the multi Olivier and Tony-award winning star returning to London’s West End to play Leo Colston – will be Issy Van Randwyck, Gemma Sutton and Stuart Ward.
