An original cast recording of The Prince Of Egypt, the new musical based on the acclaimed DreamWorks Animation film, will be released on Ghostlight Records in digital and streaming formats on 3 April 2020. A physical CD will be available later this year.

Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O’Bree attending the opening of The Prince Of Egypt at London’s Dominion Theatre. In the same week that the run of this epic production was extended by seven weeks, until 21 October 2020, Perry was busy catching up with the stars on the Red Carpet (Kerry Ellis, Jay McGuiness, Elaine Paige) as well as the creative team, including legendary composer Stephen Schwartz and his son Scott, the show’s director.

It’s been quite a week for the London production of The Prince Of Egypt with its official opening at London’s Dominion Theatre and news announced that the show’s run will be extended for a further seven weeks, with tickets available for the period up to 21 October 2020.

It’s a family affair for Laura Pitt-Pulford as she takes on the role of Sheryl, the matriarch of the eccentric Hoover family, in Little Miss Sunshine, running at the Arcola Theatre from 21 March to 11 May 2019 before heading off on a UK tour. Among the other Hoovers she will be attempting to keep in check will be Gary Wilmot, Gabriel Vick, Paul Keating and Sev Keoshgerian. Happy travels…

After a series of hush hush recording sessions, it was announced today that the cast recording for THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS is on its way and will be released on June 16. With a fantastic cast including the likes of Denise Welch, Simon Lipkin and Rufus Hound, this new Stiles & Drewe recording looks set to be a fantastic romp through the classic story. StageFaves were invited to sit in on a recording session in Angel and if what we heard is anything to go by, it's going to be high-octane, hysterical and full of fun!
